The Artist
Yana Emasheva has had a lifelong connection with animals. She appreciates the unconditional love and affection that dogs bring to our lives and is fascinated by the unique quirks and traits that make each one special. Her work is a celebration of that bond.
A classically trained artist with a degree from the Alberta University of the Arts, Yana possesses a deep knowledge of animal anatomy, behaviour, and emotion. Her extremely keen eye for color, composition, and texture allows her to not only capture a likeness, but the very soul of the animal. Her life revolves around two things: her dogs and her art.

The Inquiry
It all begins with your story. Fill out the contact form below with details about your pet, your desired portrait size, and your budget. Please be prepared to share a few of your favorite high-quality photos of your pet.
Consultation & Deposit
We will review your request and connect via email to finalize the details, select the perfect reference photo, and provide a final quote. A 50% deposit is required to secure your place in the queue and begin the artistic process.
Creation & Approval
Yana will create a preliminary mock-up for your approval before starting the painting. Over the next 2-4 weeks, she will bring your portrait to life. We will share a photo of the final piece for your approval.
Final Payment & Delivery
Once the portrait is approved, the final 50% is due. Your one-of-a-kind artwork is then carefully packaged for local Calgary pickup, courier delivery, or worldwide shipping.
